Integrative R&D: E-Learning

Strategy

We were given the opportunity to experiment with various approaches to the integration of design and research methodologies. In a semester-long project that spans planning, research, implementation and testing, we experienced the unfolding of the design process, with special attention given to the use of iteration and prototyping as a means to generate knowledge and innovative solutions. In particular, we challenged quantitative information with qualitative insights, using both data visualizations and observation videos as tools to engage stakeholders, codify the received input and map innovation opportunities. The various modules build consequentially towards this project concept which is the final outcome of this design research process.
